I am a PhD candidate in Accounting at SOAS, University of London, and have submitted my thesis (viva pending). My research examines the quality of financial reporting, the relevance of accounting information to capital market participants, firm disclosure policies, and textual analysis, with a particular focus on applying advanced natural language processing (NLP) techniques and large language models to corporate disclosures.
I hold an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of London, and am a CFA Charterholder and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). My teaching portfolio spans over a decade and includes SOAS, UCL, LSE, and the University of London International Programmes. Currently, I am an Associate Lecturer in the School of Finance and Management at SOAS. Prior to academia, I worked in investment banking and economic research at Allied Bank.
